bah i dont get it i cant kill him, im using the build i seen posted here on page 2 i think its:
Grenths
heal sig
endure pain
doylak
bonettis
riposte
deadly riposte
distracting blow

attribs im using are (guessed because none were given):
12 tactic
12 swords
11 strenght
no sup runes just minors and cap

can anyone see anything wrong with my setup?

lol just after i posted looking for help i killed him straight after, i think i was using grenths way too soon or something, i left it to last second that time, i didnt get the green but hey progress is progress lol

You dont even need to use swordsmanship... unless you want to deal 5-7 damage lol

My story with Sskai;

After reading this I figured I'd give it a shot too, I've never done any serious solo farming before so I consider myself a noob on this front

The first 5 tries were failures, I either had Oni's popping up at the wrong/time place or mistimed Grenths but then I got the hang of it and pretty much regularly beat our friend with the greenie.

Except I didnt get a green..got gold armors, scrolls and a load of wands but no sword. Then I went back here, reread everything just in case I missed something and then realised you can see which sword he's holding from a distance (I did mention I was a noob at this).

So now its 3:30 in the morning and even though I'm only killing Sskai while he's holding it, the sword will not drop for me. I tell myself "ok, last run" and yes, lo and behold, he IS holding it, I lure him away just fine and we start getting into it...bloody Oni's pop up! I die within seconds but I refuse to go back in. This time I manage to avoid the Oni's but I miscue a Grenths..I die again.

30% DP now and I still wont give up, I lure Sskai out again and with some luck I kill him and yes! there it is! My precious!

Good thing I grab it like lightning because 5 seconds later Endure Pain goes off and I die...but this time I died with a smile on my face.

The worst thing that happens there is... You use GB, he no longer uses signet, you activate endure pain, he hits you a few times with 100+ damage... you use riposte and he uses seeking blade and bam and both are dead... and there is a glitch in gw if you die at the same time as the creature dies, you get no drops :/

Nice build tho I give it an A

I don't believe I ever said thanks for this build. This was a much easier learning curve than soloing Sorrow's or Grenths with a similar build and I was able to learn the technique of the build.

Keep up the awesome work.

trap then pull if he doesn't die just have a wirling defence and trap again never test it but i think is going to work.

i keep dying...even if i dont aggro he still kills me. he keeps using healing signet so wont even die. any suggetions?

EDIT: i also dont have riposite...where can i get it in cantha?

I completely ignore the fact that he's using heal sig. Just keep the ripostes up and stay high on health and you'll have him in no time. He stops using heal sig when hes at about 1/8th health, at which time you need to hit endure pain and keep on trucking.

I believe you can get riposte at Kaineng Centre... but you can also buy it from Ember Light Camp.

Great build got a few sskai swords already.
Farming Geoffer i also very easy with this build, although i use Glads defense instead of GB because you have to kill some assasins, warriors and deadhands as well.

i got the same thing too. Still cant get him to spawn w/ the sword. What i'm i doing wrong?

So for the record, I just set out with a freind, killed him 6 or 7 times, and he dropped it without actually showing that he had it. This should make this much better for some of you.
